A really great half term week at the Blue Anchor, with plenty of families popping down for lunch after a fun-filled morning in the park working up an appetite.

After a busy day at the office, Friday night drinks were certainly on the cards for most. With drinks continuing well into the evening, we had quite a busy night on our hands with drinks flowing until that final bell.

With the sun shining for us on Saturday, bringing everyone flocking to the Blue Anchor, for a spot of lunch, we had a full to bursting garden with those brave lot enjoying our BA burgers, surf n turf and our delicious filled baguettes washed down with a local Pilgrim ale.

Sunday, with the fire roaring and some seriously comfy sofas you couldn’t wish for a better setting to enjoy a pint and a delicious Sunday roast. With meals flying out the kitchen all day and getting through a fair amount of Hop House 13 lager, it’s safe to say our customers were enjoying their Sunday! That evening the busy pub continued with 7 teams in for the quiz. No snowball winner this week though however, so the prize money rolls over to £44 next week.

Don’t forget, all the action starts again this weekend with the 6Nations!
