It has been a rather wet and cold week that has just passed us by, but that did not deter anyone from coming in to join us throughout the week and the Bank Holiday weekend.

The week started off extremely busy, with the pub being packed throughout Monday, with a couple of parties joining us for some food and of course a couple of Beverages to wash everything down.  This continued through the whole week, with each passing day getting progressively busier.

Once Thursday evening came, the Pub was packed throughout the rest of the week, with everyone getting into the Bank Holiday weekend and enjoying their well earned time off of work.  With a great atmosphere within the Pub, everyone had a great time here with us, especially on Thursday Evening with a select few Guests joining us for our Chef’s Table, which was a Curry Night this month.  Friday was yet another busy day, as everyone continued to relish not having to go to work for the day, instead opting to have a couple of drinks with some of our amazing food.

Saturday followed the trend of Friday and Thursday, with it being yet another busy one from open to close, with locals all coming in to spend some of their time here with us.  Easter Sunday was packed full of bookings, with our awesome Sunday Roasts proving extremely popular, with all customers truly enjoying all of their meals. Along with this, the children of the families had a great time taking part in our 2nd annual Easter Egg hunt, with them all finding their fair share of eggs and chocolate.

We now look toward what should be yet another great week here at The Blue Anchor, with the weather turning for the better in the 2nd half of the week, meaning customers should be able to enjoy some of the sunshine and warmth out in our lovely beer garden.
